Aquarian Cladding Systems MD Paul Richards presented Jude and Ethan Moore with the Young Sports Personality of the Year award at this year’s Bristol Live Sports Awards – and immediately backed the brothers to go on to even more success in the coming years.
Both have been crowned national champions this year and both have represented England.
Jude was a gold medallist in the Wexford Box Cup, while Ethan was a silver medallist at the European Championship, which led former world boxing champion Glenn Catley to state he has ‘no doubt they are potential Olympians’.
Having sponsored the hotly contested award, Paul met the brothers when he handed them their trophies.
“I’d like to congratulate Jude and Ethan for winning the award, which is well-deserved,” said Paul.
“They spoke very impressively and demonstrated old heads on young shoulders. To have already received such praise, I am sure they are destined for a big future and look forward to following their boxing careers.”
The prestigious event took place at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium and was hosted by well-known sports BBC and ITV sports broadcaster John Inverdale. A total of 11 awards were handed out on the evening, which celebrated the cream of Bristol sport.
“It was a wonderful evening and we were delighted to sponsor Young Sports Personality of the Year,” added Paul.
“Supporting and encouraging amateur and junior sport is vitally important as they are potentially the next generation of stars.”
Aquarian cladding has always been big supporters of junior and grassroots sport in the community and have renewed their sponsorship of Clevedon Utd Juniors U13s for the next two seasons.
